Today's tutorial is for all the people asking how i made my super long ai animated video. If you don't know what i'm talking about, just keep watching.
I recently uploaded a video that was over 12 hours long. I basically live streamed this video and i wanted to explain to you guys how i made it.
It was a video where my character stood in one spot and did different movements and i would go back to the same spot. Now, to be perfectly honest, the reason i made the video was for viewer retention.
Basically, anybody who watched the video entirely would play it for 12 hours long, it would count for 12 hours of watch time on youtube.
This was an idea that ChatGPT gave me and i thought it wasn't a bad idea at all. Now, to pull this off, it's not very difficult.
However, it does require a few subscriptions, multiple steps, but for the most part, it's not very expensive either. Step one, create your image in Midjourney.
To start, I make my starting image in Midjourney. As many of you guys know, I love Midjourney. This was the image that I started with.
I then expanded that image so it looked like this, and my final image looked like this. Many of you ask how much some of these courses cost, so I'm just going to be straightforward with you.
Midjourney, the subscription I have costs $30 a month, but you can make thousands of images every month. However, I wasn't done just yet.
Step 2: Clean it up and enhance it in Lightroom. I then took my image over to Lightroom and enhanced the image, and this was the final image I came out with.
Lightroom, on the other hand, cost about $10 a month for the lowest subscription. Now, if you want to learn how to create images, I have a course on that.
I also have a Lightroom course teaching you how to enhance those images. If that's something that interests you, take a look at the description below.
If you purchase the course that teaches you how to create characters, it comes with the Lightroom course for free. Step 3 animated in grok.
Once i have my final image, i bring it over to grok and here i also pay thirty dollars a month for super grok. Super grok will give you about 30 to 40 videos a day.
Now, i might be perfectly honest with you, grok animation isn't the best. However, for what i'm teaching you, it's absolutely the best.
The main reason is because it's very inexpensive. The main thing that people do wrong with Grok is they don't know how to use it to get the most out of it.
And I'm going to show you how to do just that. The first thing you want to do is first click on Imagine. Here, you would insert your image and type in your prompt.
Then, select your image and go to where it says Loop. Select that it'll start and end with your image looking the exact same.
In the prompt description, I wrote, Make her, and then inserted the image, stands perfectly still. Facial expression, slight smile, happy.
After that, tighten your prompt what you want to happen. This is what i wrote. However, there's no right or wrong here. Just keep it simple, keep it very simple.
Whatever movements are happening, keep that simple, and make sure that they stand in the same location. That they don't move around too much.
I wrote different things, like, in this case, maybe she would stand still, and then the next one i wrote almost the same thing, but slightly changed it.
She would walk for a second, stay in the same location. I want her to do some different movements with her dress. So i had her spin around in some locations right here.
I have her bow and in the background, i would add a few details like make the smoke move or make some sort of elements glow.
I just added some sort of new details but any one of these loop videos can be different. Just keep it simple. You want 720p and i would go for 10 second duration.
Since these are being looped, keeping it any longer or shorter doesn't really seem to work too well. I find ten seconds to be a good spot, but the most important thing is that it's under loop.
As you can see, I did several different videos here off to the side. These are all my different generations; they all start at the exact same way, and then some sort of different action takes place after generating several different videos.
I pick out which ones I think are the best, and I download each one of those by selecting this icon here. Step four, upscale your clips.
And once i have all my videos downloaded, i go to this. Now, this next step, you don't have to do it. In fact, many of these steps you don't have to do.
You don't have to do the lightroom step, and you don't have to do this next step. However, quality is important to me, and so i always do these steps.
This next step involves having another subscription with heyjen. Heyjen does all sorts of different things for me. But one thing that i've been using a lot for is upscaling my videos.
And the reason being is because it doesn't charge very many credits, and the quality is better than anything else i've seen on the market.
So what you do is you first go to apps, then slide over to where it says upscale video. Select that, insert your video here.
Make sure you're on standard. Do not use precise is way overpriced and doesn't give you better quality. Make sure you're on 4k, even though the video is 720p, it will enhance your video.
As you can see, here are a bunch of different generations that i've already created. We'll select one to take a look at it.
As you can see here, the quality is much higher than the 720p that i originally downloaded. Each one of these videos only being 10 seconds long takes only about three credits to generate from these videos that are 10 to 15 seconds long.
Take anywhere between three to seven credits to generate. Step 5, make the music in suno. Now, you might at this point be a little tired of the subscription models, but overall, i tell people, i spend about 100 dollars a month in different subscriptions and i use each subscription differently so i can get the most out of them.
This is my next subscription that i use. It's ten dollars a month and it's for suno in this platform, you can make as many different music tracks as you want on this website.
It's designed to make several music tracks. You can make probably about thirty to forty songs a month using this website.
Simply select create, and then under styles, you would type in the type of music you're looking for. And over here, it'll play that type of music.
I wanted to go for something that sounded classical, that was relaxation music. I didn't want anything with any lyric instrumental sound.
And I put classical relaxation music with a soft piano. I then generated several tracks. Each track was approximately three minutes long.
I then downloaded all the tracks that i liked. I didn't sit there and listen to each one. Obviously, as long as they had the sound, i was looking for step 6, edit everything together in premiere or any editor you like from there.
I then open up premiere and i took all of my videos that i had created downloaded and then enhanced to 4k and brought those over into premiere.
I also grabbed all the music tracks that i wanted from suno and i placed them all on the timeline. As i zoom in, you can see that each one of these videos are my different clips, and i just place them one after another.
And since they start and end at the same way, because they're loop, it would then just go into the next animation back to back to back.
Now, of course, i didn't just sit here and place all of these in order for 12 hours straight. Instead, all i did was pick out about 6 or 7 clips, and put them back to back.
Then i copied those and pasted. Copied and pasted and repeated that process all the way down to 12 hours as it got longer.
I just kept copying and pasting the entire group of files that gave me the full clips and they automatically were just lovable for 12 hours straight.
As for the music, i did the same thing. I took in all the tracks that i could to about an hour's worth of different music.
I then copied and pasted that about 12 times until i had 12 hours worth of music. It sounds complicated or like it took a lot of time, but the truth is, it's just a lot of copying and pasting.
It's really not that difficult. And if you're wondering why 12 hours, that's because that's the longest amount of time. Youtube will allow you to post a video from live streaming.
Step 7, go live with obs and let claude do the setup. Once i had that all laid out, all i did was export this file. It does make a very large file.
Once you've exported your 12-hour file from your editor, you need a way to send it to youtube. That's where obs comes in.
It's free and it's a software. Most live streamers use first add your file to obs under sources. Click the plus button, choose media source and pick your 12-hour video.
It shows up in the sources list and plays in the preview. Next connect obs to youtube, click settings, then stream choose youtube as a service and sign into your channel.
Now, click manage broadcast and choose create new broadcast type of title, set the privacy to public and choose a category.
Say whether the video is made for kids and add your thumbnail when everything looks right, click create broadcast and start streaming.
Obs sends your video to youtube and you are live. And if any of that sounds like a lot, here's the shortcut open cloud and let claude run obs and set up the live stream for you.
It fills in the title, the category and the privacy setting and tells you exactly what to click. Youtube, lets a live stream run for up to 12 hours, which is exactly why we built the video that long.
And once the stream ends, it stays online. Every person who watches adds watch hours to your channel. As of the making of this video, you got 610 views and a total of 32.5 hours of watch time, which is pretty good for my small channel when it comes to our retention and that's the whole workflow.
Now go make yours. Bye.
