Editing one video used to eat my whole evening, so I stopped doing it myself. This is the official CapCut plugin for ChatGPT, and it works right inside the chat.
I dropped in my raw clips from the weekend and typed, "Cut this into a fast 30-second recap with captions and upbeat music.
" That was the whole edit. It planned the cuts, added transitions, put captions on the timeline, and pulled a track from CapCut's massive asset library.
Want the captions bigger? I just asked. Want a different vibe? I asked again. And when I want to get picky, I open the draft in CapCut and tweak it by hand.
Need a shot I never filmed? It can generate images and video clips too. The best part is i saved all my preferences as a skill, so next time, i don't have to explain myself again.
One prompt, my style, done. From first idea to finished video, all in one conversation. If you want to give it a go, tap the link in my bio to try capcut plugin.
